When Elaine asked for discussion topics I suggested an exhaustive and extensive survey of CHer's and listed about 20 questions that seemed pertinent to CH research. This was just a start. My idea was that we are such a large body of subjects we might be able to ferret out an overlooked clue to our CH's if dozens or even hundreds added questions and let us all respond to them.
Lacking medical knowledge myself I listed only questions about possible circumstances concerning CH. I figured there must be some very pertinent questions that a scientific researcher would want to include. Elaine asked me to give this suggestion to the OUCH officers which I did do. My original thought was that friends like Dr. Goadsby report the results of tests on 13 subjects, which is probably quite valid; but what if he had some input from hundreds of subjects. Of course, he cannot experiment on all of us. But who better than we know our individual histories in minute detail? Didn't someone say CH could be diagnosed by telephone if the doctor had the pertinent details?
Our own cluster survey is excellent. I just wanted to expand it after I read so many posts by people who are obviously intelligent, knowledgable and original thinkers. I hope everyone will respond to Doc Greg's question. Who knows, maybe we have the answer to CH and just need to recognize it. I hope everybody will respond.
