Yes is the answer to about all your questions.

MOST CH'rs are EPISODIC...we get periods of remission from the attacks that last anywhere from 6 months to 3+ years.

MANY (approx 22%) of us are CHRONIC...y'all get no periods of remission greater than a few days, typically. (Although that isn't the clinical definition of chronic, it is my observed definition from the chronics here.)

Look for posts from, or email, drummer, Elaine, Ted, Carld and others for more personal insights to being chronic. They all are and have been for many years....as many as 20.

There are also several here who suffer from both clusters and migraines.
