I agree with the 'pushing the envelope' idea.
It's like, let's get this over with so I can have a cigarette.
I tend to force my pain to its peak to ride it out.
It's like that first hill you slowly climb on a rollercoaster.
Once atop it the rest is fast and furious.
Hang on tight and ride the cluster coaster.
It will end.
