Going drug free isn't for everyone, I didn't see the sence in constantly taking meds (Especially Pain meds) and not getting any benifit from them. It took 6 months of swimming 5-7 miles a day, jumping rope for hours and eating vitamins before I saw any difference. I reduced not only the frequency but also the severity of my attacks dramaticlly.
I think this bout was started by slamming my head into the shower stall floor a couple of months ago when I passed out while on the Chemo, and then we had the Red Tide move into the area and It's so strong that it burns your eyes and sinuses when you get near the Beach. I live near the Beach? You have to understand that I was taking 25 Talwin everyday for 6 1/2 years prior to going drug free for pain management and about 2 times a week I was injecting 100mg of Demoral and 25mg Phenagrin. It would put me down for about 1 hour the I'd be right back into a headache. I got my pharmacology record printed out and when I saw what I had been taking it looked like Junkie to me so I quit! Ther is no going back to Med's for me now! Not after 10 years. John

P. s. Thanks for the post and you kind words!
