I've had clusters for 19 years. I've tried everything. The only thing that remotely works for me is Prednisone. I take 3 20mg. tablets for 3 days, then 2 for 3 days the 1 for 3 days. Then I usually have to repeat this cycle. I also take 1 4mg. Periactin at night. I still get the pain occassionally while taking prednisone but with less intensity. I am in no way cured and live with fear of the beast daily. Good luck!
