I just discovered this web site (today, 11/07/98). I have sent a message for anyone to reply. No answer yet. In my message I mentioned the fact that prednizone (cortizone, deltazone, etc.) is the only drug that works for me, however I then have the problem of the weight I gain and God knows what else that drug does to my body. Ask your Doctor for Verapamil, it seems to work for me, but you have to give it some time to kick into your system. In addition, ask your Doctor for Imitrex in the injection form. It has been the only drug that gets rid of the pain almost instantly. I hope to learn a lot more in this web site about CH's. I have been suffering for a long time, and I always thought I was alone suffering some kind of weird condition, now I know I am not alone. I hope my reply is somewhat conforting to you. Good luck.
