Hi Phil, I don’t know if I’m chronic, but I’ve been having these HA since October. I did get a short break at the beginning of the year. Right now I feel ripped off because after my neuro said that I have CH I did a little research and was lead to believe that when I got a break it would be for something like a year or more. So now here I am starting up with these GD HA again with only a 16-day respite from these things. This is all new to me so right now I am trying anything and everything possible to make them go away. Before these HA I thought that I knew what pain was. I mean when I was in my car accident four years ago they had to helicopter me to the hospital so that they could do an emergency sleenectomy on me swollen gut. Talk about pain, I don’t know if you have had all your internals swell from a trauma but let me tell you it was bad. Then, I had morphine for about 6 days, after the morphine I was in pain, but at least then it got a little better every day. Right now it feels as though it’s getting a little worse every day. It seems that the days are grayer right now in Portland than usual. This week I think I will talk to my doc about some counseling or maybe an antidepressant or something. Out of Imitrex till Monday hating life and the ins. Company till then.
