...but my own history negates some of your assumptions: In 96, I had been in remission for some months when the angina started. I lasted 45 seconds on the treadmill in the stress test. My doc gave me nitrostat--it didn't trigger a CH!-- to take until I could get to Walter Reed where they performed an angioplasty. During recovery, they took me off oxygen for the first time in three days. Bang! A Kip-8. My son (a fairly dominant guy) captured a neurologist and brought her to me. She rigged up an oxygen mask to replace those useless nose tubes and percodan on demand. Since then, and since I am not allowed the triptans, I rely on oxygen. I love oxygen.
