Doxepin is the generic for sinaquam and I have been on it for six years now and I take 200 mg. It was prescribed for me for depression and sleep and as much as I have tried I can not get to sleep without it...It has made my life whole again. I was taking it with 75 mgs of vistaril but has since gotten of of the vistaril. Hope it works for your son... by the way I am 56 years old.
