I had CH 5 yrs before I ever injested one drop of alcohol and 6yrs before I inhaled my first cancer stick. My attacks are just as intense & my remission about the same however this time I was in remission for 8mo. This was the longest remission I can remember and I smoke & drink on ocassion. I guess my body just doesn't rebel against nicotine. Alcohol bugs me during a cycle that why I only drink on ocassion.
