During my last cluster a year ago, I was put on lithium 300mg twice a day. For the first time in my life, my cluster headaches were controllable. I experience no side effects at all. I was also on 60 mg of prednisone, but weened off that once I had been on the lithium 7 days. Good luck. I hope this will work for you. I had heard of lithium treatments before but was frightened to try them. You will know almost immediately if the lithium works for you.
