As the newest student in the class I feel at a slight disadvantage, everyone else knows you so much better than I do. However, the messages and emails I have exchanged with you have been a great source of comfort for me, and I hope that one day, I can be there for you as well.
When Heather posted her original message of your illness, it became almost an obsession. I can't even count the number of times I checked the board yesterday in the hope of an update on your condition. What a relief this morning to read you are doing better.
Ms. Twitch has assigned as our homework, a letter to you. She is doing a fine job, even though some of the guys are giving her the usual substitute teacher rough time. I'm not a tattle-tale, but some of them have been very bad. (No names to protect the guilty).
I hope you have a speedy recovery, your family, both imediate, and extended, really miss your presence.
