I just posted a message for the first time, it may have been in the wrong place. I have had the best success with accupuncture. I am currently getting that treatment for the third time in five years. They are a little more stubborn this time, but I am confident that it will break the cycle. If the doctor administers it, you have a good chance of it being covered by the insurance. If it is done by someone who practices accupuncture exclusively, prepare to pay $50-$100 per treatment. But it is worth it! I am of the opinion that painkillers only cover up the symptoms, but I want to get to the root of the problem. Accupuncture seems to be closer to that than any other treatment I have gotten. It may also bring emotional and energy issues to the surface, which may contribute to the pain and frequency of the headaches. Good luck!
