Pred. Slight Hip Pain

I've only been on Prednisone for four days (40mg/day) when I noted a slight pain/discomfort in my left hip.

While I did understand that the stuff was potent and damaging to bone and joints, I assumed that a short course would not lead to complications.

Anyone know if 4 days on 40mg could result in problems?
