Last cluster my doc prescribed a 5% lidocaine nasal spray. Insurance won't cover (but no prob @$20/bottle). RX don't keep it on the shelh because it has about a 3 month shelf life so I had to find a place to mix it up for me. It did numb a little of the pain in the inner sinus area at the start of the HA. May have given me a little time to get my cafergot working. Really don't think it was worth much.
