This past summer I had to have prep work for a crown. The dentist was 3/4 done and the shots wore
off (I'm hard to numb and stay numb)and she didn't want to give me anymore. So she asked if it was ok to finish drilling, it wouldn't take long, without another shot.
I thought well if I can get thru a cluster attack I could do this for a short time so I said yes... how bad could it be?
I held on to the armrest and that pain hit. I just keep telling myself this is going to last a short time, short time...I can do this! I did do it but it did hurt like h**l, but it was over within a short time!
Afterwards she said she knew it had to hurt bad but that I was a trooper. She said in the Civil War time they would of given me a silver bullet to chop down on. Now how would they work on your teeth if you were chopping down on a bullet??
