CH is known to inhibit sexual drive. Such doesn't cover habit, as in copulating to abort an attack, as aforce of habit more than libido.

Also, I have experience on occasion CH during sex, not that it deters me much from it ;-)

The effect of exercise is completly different than that of sex regarding hormonal balance. If understand correctly, such might be your question in an indirect manner.

Strenuous exercise seems to have an effect on sex hormones, as in building muscle mass, and decreased libido. Where sex involves totally the oposite. It is thought that the effects of exercise on CH are due to improved blood circulation at a systemic level, coupled with an increase in plasma O2 saturation. Additonaly, there is accumulation of several hormones and compounds in skeletal muscle tissue that does not take place nearly as acutely with sex. Also, there is the generation of endorphins to a much greater extent than with sex (if any are generated with the later). All this would suggest that exercise would be preferably as a CH abort method, at least more effective, although not as much fun.

To test, either engage in strenuous sex, either by your self or with someone, and compare the results to doing series of some type of strenuous aerobic exercise.
