Imitrex, has never done me wrong.
I use the 50mg pills. I break them in half.
If within 15 to 20 min. if i feel the HA is going to be a dousie. I take the other half.
The most i have taken in one day is 200mg. By breaking them in half i am able to treat more indivual attackes than if i did not.
I have appon very extreem cases. While out in public etc. have taken two 50mg pills at the same time. This does get rid of the headache quickly. But, the side effect is shortness of breath and a tight chest. Also a feeling of light headiness.
