The Imitrex or Imigran injections are 6mg per each injection. Some of us find that only a 1/3 dose of the injection is required to abort an attack though. That would be 2mg. Sometimes when an attack wakes me from sleep and the attack is too high on the Kip scale I will take 1/2 of an injection to destroy the Demon. I found the Imitrex pills to be completely worthless for the attacks that woke me from sleep. I've never given myself a shot before I found Imitrex. I had an aversion to shots. It's really no big deal. I love the shots now. Hope this information helps you.
