Unfortunately, the FDA has cracked down on O2 distribution and use because it is considered subject to dependency. I don't think you will get it without a prescription. According to published literature, inhalation of O2 at 8L per minute for 10 or more minutes results in an 80 to 85-percent releif rate. WHy an insurance company would balk at the cost of O2 relative to Sansert ($114 for 60 tabs) or Imitrex ($35 per injection) I don't know. The only warning I've seen for O2 use is no more than 60 minutes total per day.
