I have a close family member who was addicted to pain meds. (Hydrocodone and Vicodin). When he decided that he couldn't live like that anymore, he sought help. One of the meds prescribed for him was Clonidine. You are supposed to be monitered when taking the first dose as your blood pressure may drop drastically.
