We all know how many misdiagnoses have occured, thinking these things are sinus infections. Very frustrating, but I have seen the exact same result when my husband has been given a prescription for antibiotics too. I think it's a happy coincidence but I think that when you are in a cluster, the sinuses CAN become infected as a byproduct of all the blowing and sneezing and tearing that happens during an attack. Perhaps clearing up that infection reduces the severity of the cycle?
This leads us back to the whole candida theory and the imbalance of good bacteria in the system....IF we can get the balance restored (i.e. by taking antibiotics), can we produce a domino effect on the cluster cycle?
I wonder how many others out here have tried antibiotics and what the results have been....hmmm
Good post!
