I started the Depakote, water therapy and salt reduction last Monday. Still having Clusters but not near as severe. I also saw the sodium thing on the Depakote but can't figure it out. Prednisone, at one time, worked very well for me. When I would start with a 80 mg. shot and then a 30 day taper, it would completely stop my clusters. After 3 cycles, it lost it's effectiveness and I went on the Depakote. Also, Prednisone is mean stuff. I would always gain weight, break out on my face and feel lousy BUT, like I said, it worked very well for a while. Good luck!
