Hi Lil,
Sounds like it could be cluster but do follow Jonny's advice and follow the links on the left side board. While that will be helpful, an MD diagnosis is essential to a) rule out any other causes and b) get the necessary treatment. I do oxygen to abort the beast and it works most of the time and I recently read that if O2 works to abort the HA, it is definetely cluster.

If your guy is a clusterhead, know this. There is no cure yet but it is not in itself fatal (just feels that way). There are many meds and non med treatments that work, for some. A question. You said he gets them once a week. Is there something you do on a regular basis, ie eat out, etc that preceeds the HA? I am particularly sensitive to MSG and have triggered more than a few cycles while on business travel and and vacation and eating a lot of resturant food. Hell, I've paced the streets of cities coast to coast and even Paris and London.

good luck
Kip
