I can only repeat that I have checked the safety of this technique with at least three doctor including my own GP and the specialists at two pain clinics. All say it is OK - it is nothing more than inducing a partial faint. I have been doing it for over a decade without harm. If anyone has any real evidence that it's harmful, then I'll listen. But I'm not bothered about hearsay evidence, nor am I concerned with what somebody reads in the health advice column of their local paper.
