my clusters worse, I try to listen to my body and really hate taking more medications than necessary and hate even more taking than one medication at a time, like an ass I was taking prednisone when I caught a bad virus, the prednisone weakens the immunity system, so the body can't fight off the virus, my major fallback now is my oxygen concentrator and I only pop down one amitriptylene when I am sure the concentrator is not going to knock the headache, wish controlling CH's was as simple as Jack's 1, 2, 3 method, maybe Jack should hop over to a cancer ward and present the sufferers there with some kind of 1 2 3 scheme, I share your pain with you and well aware of the panic of feeling an attack coming on again, oh God, how long this time? But over the years I have learned not to take every medication my doctors prescribed, only try a small dose first and also go through a dryout period between new drugs, if anyone has a better suggestion, I am all ears, in my case the Imitrex makes my head feel like a glass bowl that is ready to crack and also dries out my nostrils making the next cluster just that much more miserable, I hope you find what works for you.
