MMARK; Your symptoms don't sound like CH's. A CH is more like an ICE PICK which is 10 feet long shoved up your 1/2" nostril affecting the entire side of your face (R, L or both). A CH "WILL" wake you up in the middle of the night. You will want to die, bang your head against the wall, floor, etc., cry, beg for mercy, scream, pull your hairs out, etc., etc.,....plus your eye and nostril will water, the side of the head (FACE) that hurts will swell up and you will not be able to even gently caress your skin because it would feel like a steem roller going through your face........you will want to take a cannon, place it on your eye, and pull the string!!! BANG! it is over, no more head = no more headaches!.
I have a friend that suffers from both CH's and Migranes. I suggest you go to a darn good neurologist and get a second oppinion.
