Maybe it's no coincidence that you felt relief after taking the Tylenol PM. It has the same medicine as Benedryl (Diphenhydramine HCL) which is an antihistamine. Before I knew I had cluster headaches, antihistamines (combined with Advil) were the only over-the-counter drugs that came close to helping my headaches.
My cluster period has thankfully ended (one week w/o headaches!). The past month seems like a blur...
