Do us all a favor, Nicholas, and READ the posts before you respond to them. Mis-information can cause a lot of problems for a lot of people.
Check the archives. Jack has repeatedly said that verapamil DOESN'T work for everyone. He, and many others including most knowledgeable doctors, feel it should be the first CHOICE for preventatives. NOTE: That doesn't say the ONLY choice. That doesn't say it works for EVERYONE. But, as meds go, it is RELATIVELY benign...relative to the other meds typically prescribed for clusters.
You did this same thing to me recently down the board. I briefly mentioned Prednisone and then went on to discuss the dangers of Sansert. You responded to my comments re: Sansert but subscribed them to Prednisone. It's bad enough that the majority of the medical profession is working from terribly outdated information. There is no reason why sufferers should perpetuate this bs.
