I think if the Prednisone is helping your next step should be verapamil, It worked for me for two years in a limited since and I see here it works for a lot of sufferers.
I'm so Chronic that I had to choose between Drug Dependency or staying alive and sane! I went drug free and never regreted it- It's a personal choice and I'm not touting it for anyone unless it's their choice. It takes a great deal of internal fortitude and resolve to make it through the first few months and after that you you might never want to go back.
Drug dependency is a soley mental process and if you apply the same idiology to the reverse it works equally as well! Some of us have to rely on the drugs because of one reason or another
so it's like every step you take in Life---Your Choice!
If you haven't tried the Channel Blockers yet you ought to as they have no outward debilitating affect like the pain killers do. sailpappy
