since 1988 I have used verapamil with great success. Takes a few days to kick in and then I get NO headaches for my cycle. One exception was 1995 when I flew on a plane in the middle of a cycle. I took so much verapmil that I developed an anal fissure and I still got full blown attacks ( this is probably more than you wanted to know about me )
I only take verapamil during a cycle - stop soon as it is over. I have used oxygen also.
I consider myself very fortunate.
One final thought - I come to this site and contribute in my way for one reason - to help others - my clusters have become so manageable it is as if they do not exist anymore. I do not come here for help - I needed the help many years ago but that is another story.
