YES, I have been told by my doc.that I can stay on verapamil all yr.long.Same with my brother.We both now have a yrs.prescription.My headaches were becoming somewhat chronic.This yr.I've been on it for 4 months straight and tried slacking off but to no avail-wham!I've had only that 1 CH in the past 4 months!I can't IMAGINE my life without verapamil!My doc.by the way is Dr.John Warner-neurologist-Vanderbilt hospital in Nash.Tn. My life-22yrs suffering in HELL - Past 5YRS in HEAVEN! My hope for all of you is that you could try verapamil and that it would work for all of you too! Keep looking for that RIGHT doctor! Renee
