by exposing it to severe cold, ramming a Q tip up it and whatnot just to make things worse, it needs TLC, I had no success with Lidocaine, checked my drawer last night, was on it ten years ago along with Varapamil, I think they made my headaches worse, I had three number 6's last night, nose is still very sore, I had success with coating the inside of my nose with Orajel, yeah the toothache stuff, matter of fact, just did about one hour ago, and also used O2 for about ten minutes, nose is running again and CH is down to about a 1 or 2 on that pain scale thing, God I know what you are going through, I think our CH's are trying to tell us something, but what it is, beats the hell out of me, your nose needs something cool, not cold and soothing coating the inside of the the nose with Fougera A & D ointment gently with a Q tip also helps, I say Fougera because that other crap is loaded with perfumes that can burn the inside of your nose, ask your neuro about O2, that was my major life saver, maybe a dash of Deltasone, the swelling in your nose is not very much, and it doesn't take very much to get that swelling down, I think, least in my case, loading up with drugs causes more problems than good, I'll pray for you Luke.
