I prefer the ice cold treatment also. Sometimes
I use the ice "straight up" and not even in an
ice bag. Sailpappy is right-after the first few
minutes of getting used to the cold, it does help.
I've found that heat doesn't help me out at all but everyone is differant. As far as the pins and
needles sensation goes, I've been getting that
daily now without even using the ice treatment. My
doctor says its from disturbing a nerve when I'm
sitting down. Even when I stand up, it takes a while for it to go away, then comes right back
when I sit down again.
