The first things I notice different before my cycle is the inability to sleep. Which would explain the following of lack of energy.
This is the first year I've looked back and realized that I also have a heavy craving for almonds or sunflower seeds. This year I've been practically drinking them out of the jar.
As I've said before, each year the attacks become worse. And, I don't know if it even relates to my CH, but this year about one week before my first attacks, I had what I guess you would call aura. Which turned out to be very embarrassing...as I told a fellow worker that I could actually SEE stars and colors flying all about me...it had echoed through the jobsite and man did I get some crap for that! That happened twice, but I'm not convinced it was related to CH.
The sleep deprevation is definitely a precurser though. Which brings me to that question:
Is it possible that episodics may just have to wait until they have gone full cycle as far as sleep patterns before the cycle will end? I mean when you finally get back to your normal patterns will it also mean an end to your bout? And do chronic sufferers ever have normal sleep patterns?
Sleepless in Denver,
Dave
