I too am lucky (?) in that I only get my cluster every one and a half to two years. I would however limit my use of Imitrex. It does seem like a God send at first, just to stop the pain, but I am convinced that the Imitrex prolongs the attacks for a longer period of time. Instead of maybe 4 weeks, I could get them as long as 8. Also, my insurance would not pay for the oxygen, which I wanted to try. It makes no sense since they are paying much, much more for the Imitrex, but I am questioning them about this. Good Luck!
