You're describing something i've found which is described as a variant of CH called Chronic Paroxysmal Hemicrania. You might want to do some web searches on this ...
According to what I've seen - they occur mainly in middle aged women, they are intermittant, hemifacial pain but differ in their very short duration and high repetition rate (up to 12 times/day).
A site i found says they respond well to Indomethacin.
