I beg to difer on the Imitrex. I find that the injections take abotu 8-10 minutes to work. (This is less than the time for tabs).I usually wake from sleep with my CHA's and they've hit th 8-9-10 scale recently. I have tried the nasal spray and it did not work at all for me. It was the 5mg dose and that may be too weak. If the pills work at 15 minutes, I may have to try them. No one likes the injections, although they are a life saver. Do you find the pills still work after 15 minutes if you get a #10 going strong before you take them? Can they give you more than 2 hours of use before waking up with the next CHA? One other point, the Varapamil/Pred, if it works will prevent the CHA while the Imitrex won't. It will stop one in progress. Thanks.
