Prednesone, actually Deltasone, no more that 10 mg every other day and only during severe attacks, more does not help me and produces bad side effects.

Amitriptyline, 25 mg taken at the onset of the headache, I don't agree with my neuro that I have to take 50-75 mg everyday and it takes two weeks to work, amitriptyline has some bad side effects, weight gain, high collestrol count, and I haven't taken any for two years one my last attack started and only if the O2 didn't work, if I could break the CH with O2, would not take the amitriptyline, when I was taking it long term, gained 45 pounds on the gut and the effects wore off, never even got tired anymore.

OraJel, coated that in the sore area of the nostrils knocks our a headache, always carry a tube in my shirt pocket.

O2 from a concentrator with a humidifier, coat nose with Fougera Bacitracin, and tape shut with masking tape, O2 is an irritant on my sore nose.

Trips, if the liquid manure smell gets too bad, just leave the area, BTW, three members of the same family were killed by liquid manure fumes when they broke the crust, even in an open field.

The sorer my nose is, the more sensitive I am to triggers, it needs fresh air and a time to heal.
