in the dorms, try and get a room in the upper floors as you will be breathing cleaner air, my son's dorms are four stories high and they turn the heat up so much, the nasal passages dry out that may be a trigger, he brings a fan and leaves the window open, he doesn't have CH's, outside of coating your nose with OraJel, over the counter, or using an ice pack on your face, I know of no over the counter drugs that work, try and find a good neuro.
