My husband stands in our unheated garage in winter in the middle of the night, barefoot, in his shorts, just trying to cool down. He hasn't tried the peppers-up-the-nose trick yet but only because he probably hasn't thought of it! Did it help, by the way?
We've tried head in the freezer, feet in the roasting pan full of hot water, you name it. (We wash the roasting pan before the next turkey is cooked, mind you!) Reflexology on the big toe "headache spot" which is really tricky when the person can't sit still.
His cycle has just come to an end too for this season, but like you, we'll probably be back in springtime. I'm glad you're feeling better and I know we all rejoice when these damn things take a break.
