Yes, we've run into this too. My husband's doctor wouldn't prescribe oxygen for him - it's a "CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE" in Canada... Can you believe it? Like he's some drug addict or something. What's he going to do? Sell it to his friends?
These doctors just don't or won't understand this pain until they go through it themselves. I sometimes wish it was infectious. I would have my husband go BREATHE on a few doctors just for payback for what they've put him through.
