I started getting cluster headaches 5 years ago when I was 18. They are definately getting longer each time I have one. I generally get them, 2 times a year - spring & fall. The first cluster I had lasted for about 1 week. Each successive episode has increased by 1/2 week until the last that jumped from 3 weeks to 4 1/2. This last cluster (just over) was the worst by far & I had as many as 1 attack every 2 hours for 24 hour periods. I don't know if this helps, as everyone is different with these. Hope yours are less frequent & less severe than mine (although from what I read, mine are pretty small compared to some.)
