available from Target, K-Mart, Wal-Mart, any drug store, I was working on a very piece of equipment, raised my hand holding a soldering iron and still don't know what that cord got caught on, but was holding the hot part of the iron in my hand, didn't dare drop it, and severely burnt five fingers, had to get that job out, drove to my pharmacist and asked him what I could put on my fingers, he said Orajel, on my fingers? That stuff is for teeth, man did that stuff work great, pain went away, put on bandaids and got right back to work like nothing happened. Several weeks later got a nasty CH, O2 didn't seem to help, early in the morning, dead tired, you know the story, ready to cut my nose off kind of thing, remembered the Orajel, put some on a Q tip, coated the inside of my nose and within seconds the CH broke, sneezed, and all that junk came out, nose started running, had some really major deep CH's, if you ever saw these guys that stick 16 penny nails, some of your nose passages really go deep,I pushed in a Q tip too far and lost it, but was able to work it out with a tweezers, would have been very embarrassed to go to ER with a Q tip lost in my nose, so be careful, when the nasal passages get that sore that deep, time to hop in the car and visit Lake Superior for me, I told my neuro and ENT about this, neuro shook his head and the ENT thinks I am nuts, maybe, but never leave home withuout a tube of Orajel in my pocket. Would think if it's safe to put in the mouth, why not the nose, told my CH sister about it, it didn't work for her, so no promises.
