This is the time of year (at least for those of us in the 'states', but all of you around the world whose cultures do not recognize Thanksgiving Day are welcome to join in also) that we stop and think about the blessings in our lives.
Each of us know the pain caused by cluster headaches, and the disruption they cause...whether in our employment, or in our homes, and with our plans, and those of our family members, and we have a hard time categorizing what is happening to us as anything even approaching a 'blessing'.
But, as bad is it gets sometimes, I think it is equally important to acknowledge that there are many out there, somewhere, maybe family members, maybe friends, or maybe those unknown to us, who suffer with far greater pain than we do...whether their pain is physical, or emotional, or the result of being victims of circustances beyond their control.
I am certainly not trying to be the conscience of the world, but as I sat here tonight reading the posts, the thoughts I have expressed above, as words, just came out.
So, with those thoughts in mind, I hope all of you have a happy and healthy Thanksgiving.
