I was diagnosed with a heart problem back in 1972
and Valium was one of the meds. prescribed for me.
I took ( one 2.5mg tab per day, more if needed
for artial fib.) this medication until I moved to
Fla in 1984. My new doc said "OH NO. That is habit
forming" and took me off. I didn't miss it.
That was just me. I know people who have been
hooked on it. I didn't know that it might be
addicting , didn't depend on it, and didn't get
hooked. Maybe if I knew that I was supposed to
get hooked, I would have.
Anyway, there is a definate chance of addiction.
