I believe that there is a limit on 2 Imitrex shots
in 24 hours. I use the nasal spray, and it is limited
to 2/24 hours. But I also have pills which I can
use to supplement the spray.
Are you helpless? - not really. Knowing my wife (spouse)
supports me is very much needed and is beneficial.
Various remedies prove helpful to various sufferers. Not
all are helpful to any particular person. Also, one can
become tolerant to a drug after awhile and have to change.
My neurologist put me on a prednisone taper and then on
a daily verapimil which in my case stopped the CH's cold!
Before I was on cafergot for 20 years which did very
little. I only have to take verapimil during my expected
current episode.
It may take awhile to check certain remedies, but just be
continue to support him. He is lucky to have a very understanding
and concerned spouse.
