Amerge is a naratriptan & Imitrex is a sumatriptan, and though I see no reason to take them together, I don't think the problem is with Amerge. Check out the Mayo website re: Migranal, the precautions seem to be mixing Imitrex with Migranal.
Frank, I can't take Imitrex for some reason, so I would never try the injections, that's why I take the Amerge.
