I am in the middle of a bad cycle right now, and wanted to get some opinions on what I should try out of the three medications I have.
I haven't been in a bad cycle for a couple of years now -- they've been relatively mild with only one or two bad attacks, and thus comparatively easy to manage -- but I got hit really hard this time. I went to the doctor, and she gave me some samples of Zomig 2.5 mg, Maxalt 10 mg, and a prescription for Imitrex .5 ml injections (oh my god they are Expensive!!).
The reason I'm asking is that I'm starting a new job tomorrow, and havent' tried any of this medication before. Any advice about what's least likely to make me feel "stupid" or drugged out tomorrow would be great. Thanks!
