Dear Oprah,
I am 24 year old single mother.
Currently I hold a long-term postion with the
Dayton Public School system. I am very dedicated
to the learning process of educating our children.
I want to provide a nurturing enviorment for all
students to reach their full potential. My problem
is that I am not a certified teacher as of yet. I
enrolled in a couple of classes last fall, but could
not continue due the cost of tuition.Sometimes I get
discouraged when I feel that I have exhausted all of
my options. However, teaching brings me joy and
to have to choose another profession is just
heart-breaking. I hate the fact that the only
thing that is holding me back is the lack
of funds. I'm sure you recieve a lot of requests
from many people asking for all sorts of things,
and my request isn't any different. If this
letter ever comes your way, I am asking if you
would please help me to pay for my tuition.
I already have a degree in Psychology and I am
hoping to continue to pursue a Masters degree in
Education. I thank you so much for all that you
have been doing to help other people. I know
that no matter how long it takes I'll continue
to pursue my Masters degree even if it takes
